Act of Consecration to the Holy Face of Jesus

 

O Lord Jesus, we believe most firmly in You, we love You.  You are the Eternal Son of God and the Son Incarnate of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  You are the Lord and Absolute Ruler of all creation.  We acknowledge You, therefore, as the Universal Sovereign of all creatures.  You are the Lord and Supreme Ruler of all mankind, and we, in acknowledging this Your dominion, consecrate ourselves to You now and forever.  Loving Jesus, we place our family under the protection of Your Holy Face, and of Your Virgin Mother Mary most sorrowful.  We promise to be faithful to You for the rest of our lives and to observe with fidelity Your Holy Commandments.  We will never deny before men, You and Your Divine rights over us and all mankind.  Grant us the grace to never sin again; nevertheless, should we fail, O Divine Saviour, have mercy on us and restore us to Your grace.  Radiate Your Divine Countenance upon us and bless us now and forever.  Embrace us at the hour of our death in Your Kingdom for all eternity, through the intercession of Your Blessed Mother, of all Your Saints who behold You in Heaven, and the just who glorify You on earth.  O Jesus, be mindful of us forever and never forsake us; protect our family.  O Mother of Sorrows, by the eternal glory which you enjoy in Heaven, through the merits of your bitter anguish in the Sacred Passion of your Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, obtain for us the grace that the Precious Blood shed by Jesus for the redemption of our souls, be not shed for us in vain.  We love you, O Mary.  Embrace us and bless us, O Mother.  Protect us in life and in death.  Amen.

PRAYERS IN HONOR OF THE HOLY FACE

Prayers to do battle against the enemies of the Church

Sr. Marie St. Pierre, the Discalced Carmelite nun who received revelations about devotion to the Holy Face, understood well the relationship between the Holy Face of Jesus and His Holy Name. To do battle against the enemies of the Church, the weapon she chose was the Holy Name.  Placing her soul in the hands of the Virgin Mother Mary, Tower of David, asking her to use her soul to “shoot arrows of prayer,” she would pray:

“Eternal Father, I offer you the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ and all the other instruments of His Holy Passion, that You may put division in the camp of Your enemies, for as Your Beloved Son has said, ‘a kingdom divided against itself shall fall.'”

“May God arise and let His enemies be scattered, and let those who hate Him flee before His Holy Face!

May the thrice-holy Name of God overcome all their plans! 

May the Holy Name of the Living God split them up by disagreements!

May the terrible Name of the God of Eternity stamp out all their Godlessness!”

These imprecations are often recited at the conclusion of the Little Chaplet of the Holy Face.

And because God wills not the death of a sinner, but that they be converted and live, she also prayed the words of Christ from the Cross:

“Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.”

LITTLE CHAPLET OF THE HOLY FACE

There are many “Rosaries” or “Chaplets” in addition to the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Little Chaplet of the Holy Face is a gem, which is not only very short, but also very powerful. The words of the Chaplet derive from Psalm 67 (68 in some Bibles). St. Athanasius relates that the devils, on being asked what verse in the whole Scripture they feared most, they replied, ‘That Psalm which begins: “Arise, O Lord, and let Thy enemies be scattered. Let those that hate Him flee before His Face!’ Then they are compelled to take flight.”

Our Lord told Sr. Marie St. Pierre that the Image of His Holy Face is like a Divine Stamp, which, if applied to souls, through prayer, has the power of imprinting anew within them the Image of God.

I salute You! I adore You and I love you, Oh adorable face of my beloved Jesus, as the noble stamp of The Divinity! Completely surrendering my soul to You, I most humbly beg You to stamp this seal upon us all, so the image of God may once more be reproduced in our souls. Amen.

O Eternal Father, since it has pleased our Divine Saviour to reveal to mankind the power residing in His Holy Face, we now avail ourselves of this Treasure in our great needs. Since Our Saviour Himself promised that by offering to You, O Eternal Father, the Holy Face disfigured in the Passion, we can procure the settlement of all the affairs of our household, and that nothing whatsoever will be refused us, we now come before Your Throne.

Offering to You, O God, this adorable Countenance, disfigured with painful bruises and covered with shame and confusion, we beg through the merits of this Holy Face to obtain these, our most pressing needs.

Grant us pardon, Eternal Father, for the worst crimes of our age, which are atheism, blasphemy, and the desecration of Your Holy Days.

Avert from us destruction by war and its consequences, and from the malice of men who desire to stamp out religion from the face of the earth through false indoctrination, and who now stand ready to forcibly impose their wicked designs. May this offering of the Holy Face of our Saviour before Your Throne of majesty obtain for us deliverance from these evils.

ACT OF REPARATION

For Blasphemy and Violation of Sunday

O God! /Infinitely worthy of all adoration and love /I prostrate myself at Your feet, /filled with

grief for the blasphemies uttered against Your Holy Name, /and for the offenses committed against Your divine worship /and the observances of Your Church.
O my God! /This blasphemy is the profanation of that which is most Holy /in the sight of Your inaccessible sanctuary; /it is an attack upon Your infinite majesty, /an outrage against the Face of Your Divine Son,/ a crime without excuse, /without any other motive than that wickedness which hates You,/ O God,/ infinitely worthy of all love!/ We beg pardon,/ for these blasphemies./ Would that we could prevent them by the sacrifice of all that we are,/ or that we possess!/ At least it is in the sincerity of our hearts /that we desire with all our power/ to combat this horrible crime,/ and for all we hear or know/ to offer instantly,/ by the merits of the Face of Jesus Christ,/ our humble and sorrowful expiation.
But that which is most grievous to us /is that while blasphemy and infidelity daily increase, /the adoration due to You diminishes./ Alas! Now, even more than in the days of the prophet Ezekiel,/ men neglect and profane Your holydays because their hearts are given to idols./ Slaves of avarice and of pleasure, they no longer have time for Your worship, or attraction to Your altars./ The days set apart for Your service are profaned by their worldliness or pleasure./ They have abandoned Your house; /they fly from the preaching of Your Word;/ they despise the Sacraments and graces of the Sanctuary to give themselves to labors forbidden,/ or to amusements still more criminal.
O Lord!/ Grant us the grace to make reparation for this contempt and forgetfulness of You/ by the zeal and fervor of our adoration. / Bless those who make reparation to the Adorable Face of Jesus Christ,/ that by their prayers and sacrifices they may bring back to Your worship and to the observances of the Church /the unfaithful who have strayed from You.

O how these impious sayings offend the infinite Majesty of God and of His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ! How they provoke His indignation and give us cause to fear the terrible effects of His vengeance! Una Oración para nuestras familias, nuestro país, el mundo y por vocaciones

Padre Todopoderoso y Eterno, puesto que nuestro Divino Salvador se ha complacido en revelar a la Humanidad en tiempos modernos el poder que reside en Su Divino Rostro, acudimos a este tesoro en nuestra gran necesidad. Puesto que nuestro Salvador mismo prometió que al ofrecerte Su Divino Rostro desfigurado en la Pasión, Él nos procurará lo necesario para nuestros hogares y que nada nos será negado, ahora nos presentamos delante de Tu trono.

Padre Eterno, vuelve Tu mirada enojada lejos de nuestro pueblo culpable cuyo rostro se ha vuelto desagradable en sus ojos. Mira en cambio en el rostro de tu Hijo Amado, porque esta es la cara de aquel en el cual Usted está complacido. Ahora le ofrecemos Su Santo Rostro cubierto de sangre, sudor, polvo, saliva y vergüenza, en reparación por los crímenes más graves de nuestro tiempo, que son el ateísmo. La blasfemia y la profanación de sus días santos. Esperamos así apaciguar su ira provocada justamente en contra de nosotros. El Defensor Misericordioso abe la boca para defender nuestra causa; escuchar sus gritos, he aquí sus lágrimas, oh Dios, y por los méritos de Su Santa Faz escuchar a El cuándo intercede por nosotros pecadores miserables pobres. Acto de Reparación por las blasfemias y violaciones del Domingo

¡Oh, Señor! Infinitamente digno de nuestra adoración y amor, me postro a Tus pies, lleno de dolor por las blasfemias en contra de Tu Santo Nombre y por las ofensas cometidas contra Tu divina adoración y en las observaciones de Tu Iglesia.

¡Oh mi Señor! Estas blasfemias son una profanación de lo mas Santo, es un ataque a Tu infinita majestad y un ultraje contra el Rostro de Tu divino Hijo, un crimen sin excusa, sin otro motivo que la maldad que Te odia.

¡Oh Señor! Infinitamente digno de todo amor, te pedimos perdón por estas blasfemias, quisiéramos prevenirlas sacrificando todo lo que somos y poseemos, al menos en la sinceridad de nuestros corazones, deseamos con todo nuestro poder, combatir este horrible crimen y por todo lo que oímos y conocemos, ofrecerte por los méritos de Rostro de Jesucristo muestra humilde y afligida expiación.

Pro lo más grave para nosotros es que mientras las blasfemias e infidelidad crecen diariamente, la adoración que te debemos a Ti decrece. Ahora más que en los tiempos del profeta Ezequiel, el hombre descuida y profana Tus Santos días porque sus corazones están dados a ídolos. Esclavos de las avaricias y del placer, no tienen tiempo para Adorarte o ser atraídos a Tu altar. Los días separados para Tu servicio son profanados por sus mundanerías o placeres. Han abandonado Tu casa, se distancian de Tu Palabra: desprecian Tus Sacramentos y las gracias de Tu santuario para darse a labores prohibidas o diversiones criminales.

¡Oh Señor! Danos la gracia de reparar el desprecio y el olvido hacia Ti, con el celo y fervor de nuestra adoración. Bendice a aquellos que hacen reparación al Adorable Rostro de Jesucristo, que sus oraciones y sacrificios traigan de vuelta Tu adoración y la observación de la Iglesia de todos los infieles que se han apartado de Ti.

Recibe nuestro voto y promesa de nunca transgredir Tus sagrados preceptos tanto en nuestra persona o en aquellos que están a nuestro cargo; y en toda forma posible procuremos obedecerte y honrarte.

Oración de Novena al Santo Rostro

Oh Señor Jesucristo, al presentarnos ante Tu adorable Rostro para pedirte a Ti las gracias que más necesitamos, Te rogamos, por, sobre todo, nos concedas la disposición interior para nunca dejar de hacer en ningún momento lo que Tu requieres de nosotros con Tus santos mandamientos y divinas inspiraciones. Amen.

O bondadoso Jesús, que has dicho “Pide y recibirás, busca y encontraras, golpea y se abrirá para ti,” concédenos, Oh Senor, esa fe que lo obtiene todo o provéenos sé lo que carecemos; concédenos, a través del puro efecto de Tu caridad y por Tu gloria eterna, las gracias que necesitamos y las que buscamos en Tu infinita misericordia. Oración por los pecadores de Santa Teresa del Nino Jesús y de la Santa Faz

Padre eterno, ya que me has dado por herencia la Faz adorable de tu divino Hijo, yo te la ofrezco, y te pido, a cambio de esta Moneda infinitamente preciosa, que olvides las ingratitudes de las almas que se han consagrado a ti y que perdones a los pobres pecadores.

O Jesús que en vuestra acerba Pasión fuisteis hecho “el oprobio de los hombres y el varón de dolores” yo venero vuestro Divino Rostro, en el que resplandecían la beldad y la dulzura de la divinidad, trocado ahora en la forma de rostro de leproso. Mas a través de esos rasgos desfigurados reconozco vuestro amor infinito, y siento abrazarme en deseos de amaros y haceros amar a todos los hombres. Las lágrimas que corren en abundancia de vuestros ojos son para mi otras perlas preciosas que me complazco en recoger, a fin de comprar con su valor infinito las llamas de los infelices pecadores.

Oh Madre de Jesus, por Tus inconmensurables dolores durante la pasión y muerte de Tu Hijo divino, y por las amargas lagrimas que derramaste, te pido que ofrezcas en sacrificio el Rostro Santo, cubierto de heridas y de sangre de nuestro Redentor, junto con Tus dolores y lagrimas, al Padre Celestial, para la salvación de las almas y para adquirir las gracias que te pido suplicante…

Aspiracion al Padre Eterno

Padre Eterno, te ofrecemos el Santo Rostro de Jesus cubierto de sangre, sudor, polvo, saliva y vergüenza, en reparación por los crímenes mas graves de nuestro tiempo, que son el comunismo, el ateísmo, la blasfemia y la profanacion  de Tu santo Nombre y Tus días santos.

Lider:  Tristemente no es solo Nuestro Señor pero también la Madre de Nuestro Señor objeto de blasfemias.  Recientemente, el Santo Icono de Nuestra Señora de Czestochowa que ya había sido atacada en el pasado y lleva las marcas de la espada en sus mejillas, otra vez fue objeto de profanacion por un hombre trastornado que trato de derramar pintura negra sobre la imagen.  La imagen no fue donada gracias al vidrio que protege, pero ofrezcamos:

Gloriosa Virgen Maria, Madre De Dios y nuestra Madre, torna Tus ojos en lastima de nosotros miserables pecadores; estamos afligidos por todo el mal que rodea nuestras vida, pero especialmente sentimos que nuestro corazón se quiebra al oír los horribles insultos y blasfemias pronunciados contra Ti.

Oh Virgen Inmaculada, de quien estamos frecuentemente constrenidos de escuchar. Oh como estos impíos decires ofenden la Infinita Majestad De Dios y su único hijo engendrado Jesucristo! Como provocan Su indignación y nos dan causa para temer los terribles efectos de su venganza! Puede que el sacrificio de nuestras vidas pongan un fin a tan indignos y blasfemias; si fuera así con que ganas lo hiciéremos, por que deseamos Oh Santísima Madre, amarte y honrarte con todo nuestro corazón, siendo este el deseo De Dios. Y por que te amamos, haremos todo lo que este en nuestro poder para que todos los hombres te honren y amen. Mientras tanto, Madre misericordiosa, confortadora de los afligidos acepta este acto de reparación que Te ofrecemos por nosotros y por toda nuestra familia, así como por todos aquellos que blasfeman sin saber. Opten para ellos De Dios Todopoderoso las gracias de conversion, magnificando tu bondad, poder y misericordia y que juntos con nosotros proclamemos “Bendita entre todas las mujeres” Inmaculada Virgen Maria y compasiva Madre De Dios.     Ave Maria (tres veces)
